Covid Protocol
These protocols are based on evolving guidance from the CDC. Our position at CF Nassau has always been to keep members safe by following the specific guidance and mandates of city, state and federal health officials. We want to thank all our members for continuing to take the steps to keep themselves and fellow gym members safe and following all the guidelines.
- If you feel sick, please refrain from coming in to the gym
- Please exercise proper hygiene while at the gym
- Please wipe down equipment with sanitation spray after each use
- CrossFit Nassau will continue to provide a space that is open, well ventilated, and sanitary
- CrossFit Nassau will continue to track who attends class and notify students of a possible Covid transmission when necessary
IF YOU TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
- Contact us and alert us of your status at crossfitnassau@gmail.com
- Refrain from coming to the gym for 10 days after your positive test or the onset of symptoms, whichever came first.
*While regular testing is always encouraged, individuals are not required to provide a negative test before returning to the gym. The reason for this is that individuals may test positive for covid due to non-infectious remnants of the virus for upwards of three months post infection.
For more details, read the full CDC guidelines here
IF YOU WERE EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WITH COVID-19
It is recommended that you get tested if you have been exposed to someone with Covid. If you have been exposed to the COVID and you develop symptoms, please do not come into the gym for 10 days or until you have received a negative COVID test.
